Larnach Castle, 'New Zealand's only castle', is in Dunedin and we were commissioned with the challenging task of transforming a narrow space on a former veranda, which had not seen use since an earlier renovation, to house the castle’s ever-expanding gift shop business. This was an extreme makeover!

Given a precise brief that included an innovative hidden door, the challenge was to design, create, and install a modern fitout sympathetic to the traditional aesthetic of the castle.

Our talented team crafted bespoke New Zealand rimu veneers sustainably harvested from New Zealand’s West Coast and using a neutral colour palette made for a thoroughly considered space. Everyone involved is thrilled with the final results!
